Future Sure has been set up by Kiwi companies invested in the low carbon future of gas. It’s a one-stop portal for you to find out more about the future of gas in New Zealand. It’s a place where New Zealanders who are connected to gas now – or who are thinking about connecting – can understand more about the benefits of natural gas and LPG and the shift to net zero and low carbon gases in the future.

Who is Future Sure?

What’s the future of gas?

Renewable hydrogen gas (made from renewable energy and water) can be used on its own or blended with natural gas to reduce carbon emissions.

Biogas and renewable natural gas is produced through the breakdown of organic waste (eg. domestic and industrial waste).

Renewable LPG, produced from biomass (e.g. forest, crop or farm waste) is chemically identical to LPG and a direct energy replacement for your BBQ or LPG appliances

And renewable DME can be used as a replacement for, or blended with, LPG.

Future Sure aims to give New Zealand gas users a place to go to find out more about gas and LPG and the future of gas energy.
